There are many Charlies in the world, there are Charlies in each and every country. Some Charlies can be Charlie in public, other Charlies have to hide. Thanks to all Charlies in the world there is freedom of expression, freedom of religion. Freedoms can be public, in some countries freedoms have to hide, in a small group, or even in one mind, or two, or three. No one can break the freedom of expression, the freedom of the mind. Charlie will be, always and everywhere. #jesuischarlie. Nous sommes Charlie. Nous sommes tous Charlie.

Valentine. What you call 'censored' is just 'deleted' because you sometime look for the boundaries in your postings. If you cross terms of service or even things forbidden by law, there is no other choice then to delete without discussion. This is an IUOMA platform with terms of service. If you want free speech; you can publish on you own place, start a blog, etc. But don't use this platform for fights that you have with others who can't defend themselves here. The topic is closed. you can react by message if you like. I am not repeating things from the past. This platform has a goal. Follow that and don't misuse the platform for private issues.
Take note folks that quite innocent comments posted here are being deleted -- censored out.
A major part of the Charlie H horror-story is the need for a free press and the importance of free speech in liberal, democratic societies and institutions.
Do we have such freedoms here at IUOMA? Sometimes, I wonder.
3 million copies of Charlie H were printed today, but not a single one was delivered to the newsagens in my village this morning, hélas.
You're right Erni -- 3 million is the print run according to the local news.
A lot of problems? A helluva lot of problems!
Unsolved problems? Unsolvable problems!
3 million? I had heard it was 1 million, but you could be right. The profits from the edition go to the families of the victims. Almost 3 miliion people were in the parade in Paris last Sunday
Great!
I went to Montpellier yesterday. On Sunday 100,000+ people marched there.
Where the procession ended, many people left their Charlie posters, drawings, messages and menentoes on a fountain as a sort of shrine. It was very moving.
(But, of course, I forget totake my camera, so haven't any photos to share with you: sorry)
nicely done.
