Ma fleur de cerise, je n'ai pas besoin du mur sombre de m'apprendre à parler. Qu'est-il arrivé? Vous êtes allé. Je porte le deuil.
Wow DVS, did Dw teach you French? :-))) very good....
Mes chers fleur de cerisier, de voir comment le mur noirse vante de ses aventures.
The Grape Jelly Blog :-))) OMG if I find the spell chick....
It does look a bit like the Toxis pool, yes. I like how everything is smoothly referenced and connected in your series, Dw. And I'm thrilled that there IS a new series. And a new and interesting character. That nanny is a bit of a mystery. Alsacian, but they say she might have walked all the way from cold Russia when she was only a child herself.
You have made me very nostalgic. I share with you a picture I have carried w/ me for many years & adventures. It is a pic of Nancy the Nanny's feet. I, a brave Ulysses on the plains of Troy, these are my Ithaca and my Penelope. As the poet wrote: "Are these the feet that launched a thousand ships?"
TY for your interest in my adventures w/ my Alsatian nanny. In fact, Nancy drew very well.
She taught me a deep appreciation for shoes, French philosophy, cosmology, and cosmetology - I used to do her toenails, and I stand behind my work.
I am far better known for having saved the world of mail-art in my later adventures.
I'm a cowboy, baby. chillin' on my Mink Ranch
Marie, now he's off with a new dream of starting a Mink Ranch.
Dw didn't just become a hero of the TOXIS Adventure. Of course there is a history amazing exploits, as with the rest of the characters. (Yes, this comes from an old children's book found pretty much at random).
Nancy the Nanny was Dw's childhood caretaker. She came from Alsace. People are already confusing her with the Nancy Drew girl detective stories. That's OK. If there were vispo for kids, it might be like this.
This is the "Mystery of the Grape Jelly Bog" - not blog. It is a swampy place filled with a purple substance that looks like grape jam. Now put on your thinking cap: Is this not like the TOXIS pool?
"The Early Adventures of Dw" is a complete accident. It's not a new series. But we might consider the connection of Nancy the Alsatian Nanny to later adventures.
Always worth checking out Dw's page. Is this a new series? I am not familiar with Dark wall's early days, I have no idea who Nancy is, let alone the grape jelly blog, but it doesn't matter, I think this is amazing work, Dw! The composition is great, and it has that flavor of children's books from the 50's. Reminds me of the "Martine" series, that's what french speaking kids (mostly girls I think) used to read (never mind the fake title):
nancy was my nanny. how do you know she drew?
