I see it is all clear to you Erni. I would have been in hot water if I had mistakenly portrayed GA as a fascist. And poor Marie is actually wearing the shirt around.

Perhaps in his mind Grigori is the greatest mail-artist. Among all of us who see each other as equals I think that would be impossible to determine.

I rest easier knowing we understand each other.

This got a bit out of hand.

Erni, of course Gangsta=Gangster. This doesn't have the same political resonance in the USA. We all know the dire consequences of hoodlums & thugs gaining political control. I think this form of "Gangsta" is a reference to Rap music that glorified life on the streets and promising careers as drug dealers, pimps & hit men - it hit a high point in music about a decade ago. Songs like "Cop Killer" started generating alaram as well as the constant depiction of women as prostitutes aka "Hos."

I do not believe G-Man was trying to make this suggestion when he sent Marie the shirt, nor was he trying to "put her on the street"  advertising his brand. My personal reading of it is that Rap is known for bragging. G-Man is trying to proclaim he is the greatest mail-artist.

The Gangsta sort of part of a tradition we have discussed here before that involves glorifying The Outlaw and the culture of violence: Billy the Kid, Bonnie & Clyde, Cosa Nostra, Street Gangs.

I don't think anyone here means to glorify the cult of street violence. You must admit, though, that someone like William Burroughs was fascinated with outlaw life in his time, right down to the fascination with firearms, and worked that into his art.

The shirt G-Man sent you, Erni, is definitely not the same thing as what Marie received. And I want to make sure you understand that none of it was meant as a glorification of gangs or a suggestion there's any political aspect.

I wanted to say this in fairness.

G-Man, as always, is controversial.

You're just jealous about that T-Shirt. I have received many compliments about it. Yes I have.

Your shirt is nicer, Erni.

The G-Man uses his pull at a Tee Shirt store to get these things made for free.

Mare thinks it is all special and is walking around Tokyo with a "Gangsta" Tee Shirt. I tried to warn her what it's about with the Warren G video. She'll be lucky if people don't shoot at her.

Have you seen the Erni Platz on the MinXus commemorative plate?

Much fun, yes. I've been wearing it. I'm also carrying around the commemorative plate. Quite heavy. Dw, now you can start knitting that sweater for my next birthday.

As you say, Empress. And we would say the same if the Empress had no clothes.
