thank you for sharing it, DaveA...to share an orio is a show of great generosity as you don't know in which half the white magic will end. observant eyes are the mind tools, an open door to creativity, mindfullness...and irony :-)

Richard, the history of the Oreo is Rich with meaning. Once a holy wafer, now a cultural metaphor. Appealing to the all-gender, it sometimes still used by white magicians as a foci tool. Also the early white magicians and witches pioneered the method of twisting off the wafers and scraping the white "magic" off the black insides. Children who do this are unconsciously reenacting the action of Eve eating the Mango of Knowledge. Deep mind psychobabble implies that ALL humans can trace their non-verbal lineage back to Eve through early experience transference in the womb.

For me, Food as Mandala brings it to the most basic level of body-mind questioning, "Can I eat that?" From there, intellectually, all things and experience is food to be et, digested, incorporated, and shat. The eyes have such movement in them, amazing representation by Tictac, I love that part. The mind-alic power of that static movement defies the mind to stop reading it as movement and focus. Thx for being Richard, DA

12.016.16 Dare Dave A.,... isn't that? .... or has that transgender symbol been sitting of the face of  the  Oreo cookie all this time & all along??? Obviously, this cookie monster never really took the time to contemplate  the finer points...& but of course, that is exactly what an "all-seeing eye" would do--perpetually spinning around.... surveying constantly.... & too, that "bagel mandala" of yours implies that all pizzas could certainly qualify as mandalas. Enjoyed this "tictac" presentation as well---thanx for posting. Sin"celery", Richard Canard
