I know. Art is a tough life. But your fashpho, now there is a market for that.

Thanks DVS, so kind of you. I'm now looking for a sponsor who would pay me a monthly fee for playing around with photoshop all day. I'm not losing hope :-)

Yes Cherry Blossom, fortunately for your friends, examples of your photos can be found on the web. I'm familiar with the textures you use, only I was not sure if that's what was being used here. You're fashion photos are nearing professional quality, IMHO. It's like, when are you going to give up your day job?

Hi DVS. Unfortunately I have irreversibly reduced it to 1000 pixels so it cannot be very big, but say 15X15cm max. I'll send one to cp-sa, if you like it you can have one too.

It's the layers of textures that give it the aspect of a painting, but it's actually "only" a photo. I wish I could paint like that :-))

textures are layers of pictures which you superimpose to your original picture, with various degrees of transparency. Like this one for example, by LesBrumes (my main source of textures):

If you wouldn't mind: "Layers of textures" - how? It looks like a painting. How big is it?

Hello my genki people, I'm really happy you like it. I did it, yes :-)) it's a photo I took at some shrine, as usual I don't know what it actually represents :-)) and then I added several layers of textures and brushes. It was inspired by JF Chapelle's words CHANCE - CHOICE on his postcard. It's funny how single words can be so inspiring sometimes. No choice no chance?

Thanks for your comments!

This goes back to all those endless discussions of randomness. Seems like the consensus was that most people use a combination of chance and choice.

See CB - no chance to these choices :-) X

Yes, Sloan, but you must stop and "listen", and you will hear Marie's artist symphony here, too! Beautiful Marie!!! Wow, this is dynamic!
