This is not by John Bennett but is included in the December 1987 issue of Velocity. I thought it provided some context and showed the dominance of xerography in that era. The artist has apparent made a photo copy of her face. Attribution and page #s are a bit unclear in Velocity, but I think it's Mimi Holmes. Also in issue: Jake Berry, Geoff Huth, Miekal And. It was more maleart then. I don't think anyone meant for it to be like that. So many women now is really great. Oh, and yours truly has an essay in the issue on Gertude Stein and James Joyce. WTF?
