The bank crisis had a global impact because of global capitalism. The Belgian government used also tax payers money to save several banks and now they are telling us we need to accept cuts because the budget is in deficit. So the taxpayer has to pay 2 times: first to save the crooked banks and now to "equilibrate" the budget as result of that operation. It's the same disgusting story every where else. I WANT A RETURN ON THE 1968 REBELLION and I want it NOW. Change, yes we can! but not the Obama crap. Yep, politics make some people nervous. I recommend shampoos for cats against the itching. You know, when a cat itches, scratches (Itchy & scratchy in a new light) and licks a lot, she has SCHURFT (in English?). You can cure this with special shampoos. Maybe I'll turn this into another collage!

I think Belgium is the world capitol of collage. You're a great representative, GV. And in the US - there's the problem we had to pay $700 billion in taxes to bail out our banks. And all the time we have to listen to how well capitalism works. I could complain up a storm. But, you know, politics makes some people nervous.

Demanding a tax refund, a great idea. I remember that when the US decided to implant the cruise missiles in Europe we decided with a whole group of Belgians to impose a tax refund by deducting it from out tax declaration (because we did not agree with the decision of our government to accept the missiles on our soil) and guess what, never got in trouble! (Belgium is the capital of surrealism in the universe). Now, I only thinks this works in this country, buddy!

Guido, I'm glad you can "talk" about it in your art. I think it's been a terrible thing from 9/11 to this recent horror. Certainly it's not a Hollywood movie with good guys and bad guys. I think you are commenting on this. Me, I'd like a U.S. tax refund. I think I might have paid for a piece of a bullet. I'd rather let IUOMA have the money.

Thanks! I showed my "Bin Laden" collages (this is the second one) to the Pakistani in my neighborhood (they run the night shops). They all went frantic and congratulated me and then as an after thought they said "be careful man, or they are going to get you too with helicopters". I exploded in laughter, they are crazier than I am actually. It's interesting to talk with Pakistani on what happened or on the "Taliban" for instance, I might translate what they tell me in other collages.
