Fike, could I re-post this dunkpo a few places? How often is anyone going to see by-the-book Trashpo by Fike?

You got the attention of the trashpoets a few years ago when you used Diane Keys' vispo for target practice. You owe it to the people, man.

Well, Mr. Canard, we strangler figs usually start in the upperstory from seeds scattered by the digestive activities of native fauna. These seeds are tiny but, if lucky enough to find themselves in a fertile crotch of a tree loaded with moss, leaf mold, etc., extend aerial roots eventually reaching the soil below, at which point becoming very tall, perhaps as much as 50-yds. After a long time and much nourishment/growth, it is our pleasure to form a network of roots about the host tree allowing it to sacrifice itself in what is quaintly termed, "strangling". Thank you, I am having a nice day.
