I don't know a lot about astrology, but a friend of mine worked out my chart and told me I had sun and moon in Capricorn. I am not sure what this makes me in terms of being an artist or therapist. As for Jung, his works are interesting. I believe we are very influenced by history and mythologies. However, I tend to believe in the power of our 'ancestors' rather than the 'archetypes' [Jung's term]. I, as a scientist, I certainly don't adhere to the view of a 'collective consciousness' over and above the cultural influences and any 'coincidence' for me would have to be grounded in fact, not the imagination. Having said that, the imagination is a fascinating area for inquiry. I am really interested in the different way people perceive the same things, whether by consciousness or the deeper levels of the unconscious. Consciousness is a chemical reality, it begins in the brain, it is not some ephemeral entity. As for the Ram, it depicts the power of the imagination and the symbols reflect my interest in asemic writing, which is now being used as a form of therapy.
Thank you for the comments.
Not my sign, but beautifully crafted and coloured
