and the printer driver reminds me for each print with 'minimized etc' that if I continue, I may lose detail. I'd hate to be a programmer getting complaints from people who just can't STAND imperfections.

Oh, yes! And the Canon Pixma iP4920 must be set to 'minimize abrasion' [their term for print on thick media] or I get ugly black ink streaks here and there on and around the printed image. This artist stuff is much fun!
