A puzzle of dreams from Alejandra Wilches Gianette

This morning as I rushed out of the house I found a nice big envelope in my mailbox, full of something rattling around inside. I brought it in to work with me to see what lay inside (I couldn't possibly wait until I got home!)

I had everyone rushing over to my desk to see what I had once they heard me gasp. Alejandra had sent to me a Mail Art puzzle! I quickly set to work putting it together, and discovered a wonderful postcard with an illustration and collage of her dream on one side, and a sweet message on the other. She dreams of returning to her country to continue working in the theater, and in the illustration little birds flee their cage and the locks that bind her, to fly off back home to Columbia. Beautiful.

Congratulations on your graduation Alejandra, and thank you SO MUCH for the mail art.

oh Sarah, I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I was so excited reading your post! I like to share something so sincere with someone like you, who are willing to listen. For me it is much easier to communicate with someone who is miles away. A big cyber hug and thank you! :)
