We have guinea pigs - Toffee and Smudge - and a hamster - Florence. Hamsters
seem to be mostly focused on how much they can get into their pouches. On my
list of things to do is to write a story called Florence and the Three-legged Cat (there's
a tabby one living nearby). Have a splendid day!

Nice one Val! Just realised it looks as if that puffin is popcorning (term usually used for guinea pigs when they jump for joy)

Our Motoring Correspondent writes, "In 1905 the famous 'Winged Lady' or 'Spirit of Ectsasy' radiator mascot was first fitted to a Rolls Royce car. Messrs Rolls and Royce had previously been experimenting with placing a live thrush on the radiator and training it to cling on with its little feet when the car was going slow, and fly along just above the radiator when it was going faster. This historic photo is from the early test days of the Rolls Royce radiator mascot experiments. "

* a 'Puff' is a group of 5 or more Puffins out to do mischief
