"Right",  said Fred (the Rt Hon Fred Nobleman) "I'm going to sort this magician out before he banishes my son or anyone else to the Crystal Mountain."

He went to the tack room, pulled on his riding boots and told his Steward (Stuart Steward) to saddle up his favourite mount (FavouriteMount, 5-2 Favourite, Chepstow 2.30 'Crystal Mountain Handicap Chase', 3m 2f). "I'm going to see what the going is like".

"Good to firm", said Stuart's wife, Mrs Steward.

(Now you probably expect me to make some sexist statement about Mrs Steward being "good to firm", too ,but I won't. Sorry. Instead we had better wait for the next episode)
