BANANAS

AKA Anna Banana Appreciation Band (ABAB)

The theme is Bananas & Anna Banana.  Many of our members are « bananas » themselves, others are »fruity », a few are « nutty », and one is completely « ape ».
If you are none of these, don’t worry we can help you with specially designed projects and exams for your progress to the banana status you deserve.
We will also explore the many works of Anna Banana as we give appreciation for involvement in Mail Art & "Art".
PS I you are « crackers » or « loony », this group may not be for you.
Also: see link and fill in the form and return it to Anna Banana!

    Here is some running banana.

The Minions sing a un-understandable banana song for an hour.

And I always thought this Brazilian song is about a banana, but it appears to be about a Bacana. What would be that?

  • Alicia Starr

    Thanks Angie. It arrived today!

  • Jen

Banana Art from The artist in Seine, Jen and mr. legendary.

Ahh, this must be where Dean has been hiding.

    and door hangers from Jen.

have a look at those little shoes.

and from mr. legendary: "WHY YES, I AM A RIPE BANANA," Sheila Duncan said into the phone. This is how the story on the back side of the card began. Trust me when i say it is a classic DS. (Too long to type out.)

    Thanks to all.

  • Heleen de Vaan

How great to see what mail art people can create, inspired by this nice fruit only!

Jen, cool Lego bridge! And wow, 4000 pieces, such a patience!
Here's a Lego lover, too!!! Sometimes I like to draw it (e.g. this purple pepper) or create sceneries and make a picture of it (see third photo on Eva's blog) but of course constructing using the real bricks is great.
But oh, how difficult it is to build a Lego Banana!... :-)

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

A banana Lego? OK, it is yellow :-)

A Lego bridge...that is amazingly huge, Jen!

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

That is surely a bridge too far!

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Johnson Brothers in Iowa City distributes a wide range of wines, spirits, beer.
