Move Your Archives -
In the thirtieth anniversary of the Decentralized Congress (1986-2016), to put back in circle a hidden wealth of "concrete" materials and experiences and to not content ourselves with the great virtual emporium of culture made accessible by the Internet, you are invited to revisit and animate your own archive, making it available to others and seeking new forms of meeting andcollaboration with the most diverse collections, in order to promote a year of archives in motion.

Thanks Ruud for starting this discussion in IUOMA, the Move Your Archives project will start to roll in a few weeks but it's already very interesting to see how each one of us has differently stored all the materials in his/her archive, just too see how it is arranged tells a lot about the owners. I think it will be great to have for one year an open debate, meetings and actions concerning our Archives. If we make the right questions, they have a lot to say. This is a "destroy your archive!" postcard that I received in 1980 from Noemi at Soft Art Press (Switzerland), I just found it by change the other day, when "correspondences" and synchronicities are at play it means it is the right time...
Want to support the IUOMA with a financial gift via PayPal?
