Once there was Pink Floyd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwYX52BP2Sk and more recently we have been able to enjoy  Momkat's pieces. I cannot select Breton as our vehicular languague, therefore it has to be Finnish (Finland). Enjoy the trip!

Thanks for the Leap Day mail art, these three made it, yay! :

(no mail delivery today :-(  maybe more tomorrow?

Doggie is in the mail today, to a few,

(junk mail supermarket ad for dog food!)

and a variety of other cards with  my "simulation" of  a postmark for today, Feb.29. I had to go to 2 post offices because the clerk had to hand stamp the envelopes, and there were just too many angry people waiting behind me for me to take up all the time waiting for the rubber stamping, one by one. 'Wish i could have "helped out" by doing it myself at a side table, but not allowed :-(

Well, at least I got to see that the clerk really put a nice circle stamp from

"ΧΑΡΙΛΑΟΥ" = Harilaou.

A few others (an additional 20) were sent from the downtown central post office, and the clerk piled them to the side, so no guarantee as to what and when they will be stamped with today's date. Hope so!

Happy Leap Year "Extra TIME" today, Feb. 29!

With the Oscars running so late, I can post a big thank you to Katerina, Toni and Heleen whose Leap Day mail already arrived - of course there's still today's mail to come, plus those who chose to wait for 29 Feb postmarks - thanks for playing along, everyone.

Katerina, I did receive yours :) sorry to worry you. Mail within Europe, heck mailing anywhere is a lot faster than me in Canada mailing within Canada. It's taken a month for my friend to get the mail I sent her and she lives 15 mins down the road.

Something is really messing up with postal service...everywhere.

How odd? Mail within Europe, it used to take less than 48 hours, and

this time Dean in France got something I sent from Greece, and it took

10 days!!!

Now surely Erin should have received my "29" er , too.

It was sent on February 11th! Although all were handmade

envelopes from magazine pages, and not "typical" envelopes

as the Greek Post wants...maybe the postal machines

"ate 'em up"???

Anything's possible with the mail these days, Erin. 5 days for a letter to get here from France, but 14 from Minnesota!

Oh nice! I didn't think about that! Getting it stamped on the 29th. I will have to mail myself some things to get that stamp hahhahaa
I will double check when I get home Finn :)

Getting closer :)

Alternatively, you could mail them on Monday, Erin, so they get the 29th of Feb as a postmark...

I'm surprised mine hasn't reached you yet, I mailed it ages ago, and I think everyone in Europe has theirs already...
