It is with great pleasure that I will outline and appeal, which is already available all information in the first Mail Art Call that im organized in partnership with the owner of the historic coffee "Cabana dos Parodiantes  " in Salvaterra de Magos, Portugal.

The Theme is "Planet Earth is a large island with a huge ocean around! "

A new event was created here on IUOMA, where you can access all detailed information, or visit the attached link created for this Mail Art Call

I would like that the event become a great success, then I am counting on your participation and   would like on behalf of the organizers, to thank all those who choose to participate with your Mail Art pieces.

When 'green' is part of the art, it is a special aspect that connects it to our earth. There is only one..... Earth.

I'm into making art that is green in content and/or materials. This interest me deeply. Thanks for making this possible.

Wow, nice stamp. Will you only stamp works that contain recycled art or works that contain recycled anything? I really like it.

the fact that mail-artists recycle the things they find is quite a green thought.

Most of the artists I know are pretty "green" but are mail artists more green? I don't know.....a lot of the mail art that I make, receive and see uses recycled materials but does the "greenieness" go beyond that? I don't know. It seems to with Katerina ;) I wish I could have solar hot water alas, I'm a renter here in Australia and don't get to make those decisions for this house. I also only walk and cycle, my family of four gave up the car 2 1/2 years ago!!

Thinking a colour is a nice thought too.
