I haven't been able to make a Peace Crane yet because my unsuccessful attempt to amputate the top of my right hand index finger without an anaesthetic while chopping up some vegetables has effecively left me one handed and I can't origami with just one hand. Marcela has a wonderful idea about involving school children with making the peace cranes! If anyone else wants to contact a local school or child care center, please do so as it would be a great project and they're easy to make!

Received the first Peace Cranes today (March 22). Julie Sprague sent 7 of various sizes and colors! Hope to receive more in the coming days.  I will try to post pictures as often as I can.

I`ll be making some with my son, he knows how to make them he`ll teach me... He´ll be making more with his friends and teacher at school this week.
