I couldn't find them anywhere either, but tried at Zakka too, but it seems they only ship inside Singapore? In that case, we'll have to send Kim back to Singapore to get all our supplies. Send me all 9 rolls and I'll send you back the ones I don't like. Thanks Kim!!!! ;-P

Comment by Kim JungYoun on December 23, 2013 at 3:09am

Claire, did you try to proceed to checkout?
You can type in your address there.

If they don't ship to US, try to contact them. (They don't ship to Korea, either.)

"If you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements please contact us."

But it seems they don't accept credit cards.

"Please make your payment directly into our bank account.
Please use your Order ID as the payment reference or please send us a copy of the ATM transfer slip.
Your order won’t be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account."

Umm... it's not easy to get them. :(
I gave up!
I may try to find out on Japanese internet shopping malls.

Go for it girl! Let us know what you find out...

Yes, the collage tape and plant one were from Karen...waaaah, but no gift :-((

But pikwahchan sends gifts, I got kooky post it notes in the shape of a sheep!! I'm putting lightlfe at the top of my etsy cart, you can't go past lovely packaging and GIFTS!!! I've never had a seller send samples, though. That would be fantastic!

Now I want the 2 washis in the top corners, maaaan, they are gorgeous!!!!! I'll do some investigating....!!

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on December 21, 2013 at 10:07pm

Oh, they are from Taiwan! Any advice Kim...?

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on December 21, 2013 at 10:06pm

Ach! Look at these tapes! I want some and can't figure out how to get them! The site that sells, Zakka Village, is in Singapore I think, but I can find nothing there but grab bags :(

^_^ Thanks for the welcome Kim! (Isn't it nice to feel loved...? %_^)

Good girl finding the gems! I've been buying from ligtlife for quite a while now. She sends greatly decorated packages and usually includes neat presents! A few times she has sent me the wrong thing, or forgotten something though, and it's hard to talk about it because she speaks almost no English. (I've been waiting months for her to replace a tape she forgot to send, though we have mailed back and forth 6 times...) She has a tape I really want right now, but its almost $24. and I'm having a hard time justifying...

Yes, that's a great set! (I bought almost all the rolls I want from it already %_^)

You showed us the outside of the package, but not the contents... So, did it include the tape above and that plant tape? (btw, did she send you a gift?)

Viz - lord, you've been busy dahlin'! The tape below is a great one indeed! I bought 2 rolls because I know I'll run out...!)

Here's one, my current favourite! I also bought the botanical plant and mushroom washi tape from Karen. Can't wait to get my next package from Pikwahchan, and I also bought some more rolls on ebay last night!! And there are 29 in my etsy cart- but I'm trying to narrow that down!!!! ;-P

Didn't I show my washimatta pack? I'll have to look that up for you!

Kim, I just got your mailing this week! Thanks for the washi leaf, wow! I was also in Singapore last year and picked up that philatelic museum leaflet, but I didn't get there. Did you visit it?

I remember seeing Midori travel sticker rolls, but they were all assorted ones, they're the ones I want!!!

Welcome back to Washi World, Claire! :)
We were waiting for you!

Hi girls! Just returned from a wondrous trip to Pittsburgh to all this beauty to relish! Thanks for sharin'!

@ Viz - the building tape is a rather absurdly expensive limited Ed. from last year, but the seller I got it from still has a roll @17.50. (She's one of the highest price sellers on Etsy, but she often has limited stuff you just can't find anywhere else... But I always check Karen first because she often has a lot of limited and her prices are much better!)  Aaaanyway:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/101730629/kurashiki-washi-masking-tape...

The trinket box is from a limed release from a while back. I didn't get it at the time, and regretted it! Then I found one - woo hoo! ^_^ The  wood I only saw once outside of buying the whole set - and I grabbed it! If I see either though, I'll let you know if you're willing to pay absurd limed prices that is!

btw, what was in your package from Washimatta! (Show us pretty please!)
