I LOOOOVE Washimatta!!! (Can't even fathom the amount of moola I've spent there these last few years...enormous!)

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on January 26, 2014 at 11:03pm

omg Kim you're a madwoman - lol!!! I went rather nuts buying some limiteds and pre-releases this weekend too... Then woke up today wracked with quilt...I'm such a damned addict! When a tape is alimited and I know I probably won't be able to replace it if it runs out & I really like it, I spend absurd amounts of time searching & trying to find more... It's really bad - lol!

aaanyway... you will be receiving another small sample of one of those tapes. I didn't know you had it and thought you would like it...

Question: I want the arrow tape on the very bottom!!! Where did you get it?

Comment by Kim JungYoun on January 26, 2014 at 3:26pm

What I ordered today <2>
Yes, I've got these washis but I need more so ordered them again.

Thank you for teaching me English, Claire! :)))
The best way is to send you ALL my wax papers and then you can choose and use what you like the most. haha!
I'll be looking forward to receiving the design stamps (and the item you meant to send me) on your next mail. :)
And the salmon & pink washi collage, too!
Your kindness is much appreciated.

P.S. Washimatta has so much cool stuff!!! ♡♡♡

Thanks, Katerina! :)
I love your "printed" washi!!!

Comment by Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat) on January 26, 2014 at 12:45pm

@True, Vizma...we washi-holics need a whole new BIG "group"

...this space at "ArtSpace" is too small :-)

LOOK at ALL those washi and wax papers! Oh, my, oh, my!

@Kim, washi with "print" = with "text" = with writing and phrases and so on like this:

And yes,

@ Claire, I think I shall be freaking out when washi washi come to Greece! thank you!xxx

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on January 26, 2014 at 12:36pm

@Kim - lol! Here I shall confuse you even more! I did mean any of your wax papers with (any) printing on them - letters, pictures, whathave you.

Happy splashing chere (enjoy your bath)!

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on January 26, 2014 at 12:32pm

(boy, and she even misspelled dictionary - lol!)

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on January 26, 2014 at 12:31pm

Ha ha ha! But what if I want bread hum? :Print" means that here also, but it also means "writing." The same word often means different things. A lot of English words will have 5 different meanings in the dictionery, you have to figure it out by context - it's pretty natural when it's one's first language of course...%_^

BUT! I was referring to this: "I will have to send you some of the stamps on my next mail to you kim. (I made you a salmon & pink washi collage yesterday, and I sooo want to show it to you, but I want it to be a surprise too...me oh my...)"

(I just realized I forgot to enclose one of the items I meant to send you in your envelope though - found it among the many piles on my sooo messy desk, so I guess I'll just have to send another with some of those design stamps now! %_^)

Comment by Kim JungYoun on January 26, 2014 at 12:27pm

vizma, so, "all the ones with text" means "printed wax papers"?
Awww.... headache... :(
I need to study English!
First, I'm going to take a bath...

Comment by Kim JungYoun on January 26, 2014 at 12:15pm

Claire, I read your message : (I want some printed wax paper! Wahhh!)
But I didn't get the meaning of "printed" exactly. Sorry!
In Korea, we usually say "print" when we print out not only letters but also images, photos and so on.

So, to me, all my wax papers are "printed" wax papers.
Can you understand what I'm saying?
Anyway, I got exactly now what you want. :)
I'll send you them without bread. :)

Each tape cutter has 5 washi stickers.

It means the 5 washi stickers will be mine. hahaha!

Claire, which wax papers do you like?
I've got 9 kinds of them, so please feel free to tell me which one you want. :)
I'll send you some of them.

Red, my choice too! I like the instructions sticker on the red one! Speaking of occasions, it's Australia Day today, 26th, maybe I should buy myself some gifts too? !!!

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on January 26, 2014 at 8:08am

Wow, he must be a very cool guy! %_^ I love the little picture of the hands with the tape on the red one. Is that picture a tape?

I will have to send you some of the stamps on my next mail to you kim. (I made you a salmon & pink washi collage yesterday, and I sooo want to show it to you, but I want it to be a surprise too...me oh my...)

My papers! I want bread too though!!!

btw, a lot of those tapes in the Rakuten link you sent yesterday I just ordered from Washimatta - lol! Somehow, she got some pre-release.

This is for my husband.

He's also using washi at the office.
There are 5 colors and he chose red one.
