Some members of our Congress, Earl Blumenauer and John Conyers try to clean up our world, see:

...The die-off of 50,000 bees in Wilsonville, Oregon – roughly 300 nests - after the application of the neonicotinoid dinotefuran was a call to action...The Oregon Department of Agriculture is investigating the die-off and is temporarily restricting the use of 18 pesticide products containing dinotefuran...Meanwhile, Europe has already moved forward with restrictions on the use of neonicotinoids...
This week I introduced H.R. 2692 The Save America's Pollinators Act  with my friend Congressman John Conyers to suspend certain uses of neonicotinoids until the Environmental Protection Agency reviews these chemicals and makes a new determination about their proper application and safe use...

It is an arthropod, an insect. With two wings, probably modified or semi. Probably a beetle but not sure. I'll investigate. In what city did you get the picture?

Received this call today:

Americans, send mail art in support of this bill to protect BEES from pesticides!

To all members of the US Congress:
We call on you to immediately support the Save America's Pollinators Act.

Bees are dying off in the millions, and we rely on them for 1/3rd of all our food.

If you act urgently with precaution now to protect them from bee-toxic neonicotinoid pesticides, we could save bees from extinction.

Send to your congressperson, find the address here:
