Information
Hamburg, 29. November 2008Since over 10 years we are serving our comunity. The mail art forums were founded by Merlin and myself in Hamburg, Germany.
Please register at
and post your messages and mail art projects.
Merlin is retired meanwhile from mailing art, but he still lives there in Hamburg, and if you send him a nice postcard, he will surely be happy.
I am looking for moderators to approve the messages, because of the spam attacks we are so often victims.
Yesterday i updated the software with help from a friend of the open source forum software from
phorum.org.
I hope that now, we can avoid spam.
Thank you

About Canton Museum of ArtWith a collection of over 1,200 pieces of fine art, including both works on paper and ceramics, the Canton Museum of Art would have no trouble filling its 10,000 square-feet of gallery space on its own. Founded as the Little Civic Art Gallery during the days of the Depression and the WPA, the museum has evolved into an impressive collection of American artworks from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. However, the curators aren't interested in keeping things static. They dedicate portions of their museum to national touring exhibits, local artists, and community events. The museum also hosts the School of Art which features more than 20 studio art classes for students of all ages, scheduling sessions three times a year.

On October 2017 Puerto Rico was hit by the fury of Hurricane Maria, one of the most catastrophic and devastating cyclones that have occurred in recent decades in the Caribbean region. Many of our art museums and cultural institutions, as well as our visual and plastic artists suffered damages in their facilities, workshops or artistic productions, leaving cultural activity paralyzed in our art scene.
As a sign of international support for Puerto Rican art in these moments of cultural crisis or uneasiness and with the desire that it again manifests itself quickly in the local and international sphere, the Association of Plastic Artists of Puerto Rico makes this international call for Art Mail / Art Mail under the title "Live the Art" in a brotherly embrace of the creators of the world towards our artistic and cultural expressions.
Demonstrating in this way that no matter the natural or man-made adversities, always the art and culture of the peoples will be manifested and shine for the enjoyment of humanity.
All the consignments will be registered in a blog [
vivaelartepr.blogspot.com] that will open for the exhibition that we hope to show on 2018 by different libraries, cultural centers, universities, art galleries or museums of the country according to the availability of the same and prompt restoration of its facilities.
