Gyotaku anyone?

I LOVE gyotaku. The melding of natural form and a lot of detail with artistry and media! Ahhh! Now to see if it can be done with edible pigments so we don't waste the subject as food.

Budget Gyotaku? I'm going to the Dollar Tree 'junque' store and see how many of the 'rubber' pet toys might be usable similarly to the 'rubber' fish which are sold as fake gyotaku makers.

Rubber chickens?

bathtub toys?
