Fluxus in Wikipedia

Fluxus was an international, interdisciplinary community of artists, composers, designers and poets during the 1960s and 1970s who engaged in experimental art performances which emphasized the artistic process over the finished product.[1][2] Fluxus is known for experimental contributions to different artistic media and disciplines and for generating new art forms. These art forms include intermedia, a term coined by Fluxus artist Dick Higgins;[3][4][5][6] concept art, first developed by Fluxus artist Henry Flynt;[7][8] and video art, first pioneered by Nam June Paik and Wolf Vostell.[9][10][11] Dutch gallerist and art critic Harry Ruhé describes Fluxus as "the most radical and experimental art movement of the sixties."[12][13]

You can exhibit the artifacts connected to Fluxus. But that isn't Fluxus.

Once I thought as Ruud wrote that you can't really exhibit fluxus. Since 2007 I think that it is possible, I saw Maciunas' collection in Bielefeld, Germany.

Fluxus is Fluxus. You can't really exhibit fluxus. Some want to be 'Fluxus' because it might b ring money. But integrating Life and Art only brings a full life and costs lots of energy. Hardly brings money as long as you are alive.

Who made the video back in 1990. I can trace who placed it.

I love the" art detox" performance, the rest is a museum. We need to stay alive, boy was that scary!

sooooooooooooooo
if FLUXUS is "anti-art" that has now become "art",
then is it FLUXUS?
I like the last commentator in the video, it applies to my questioning
the validity of having a FLUXUS exhibit in a New York Gallery:
what we see in the gallery is NOT FLUXUS...
it is like looking at the left-overs from a dinner.
We see it, but it is not IT!
...great insights on the video, Ruud, thanks!
