Dear friends, I bought at the auction a pack of old envelopes, with a picture, size 114x161 millimeters (4.5 x 6.3 inches), and I don't know how to use them in Mail Art. Maybe someone wants to receive such an envelope as a gift. In the future, you can make your collage on the reverse side of the envelope, or use it in some other way.

Hello! Is this anounce still valabile? I would like to have an envelope if you still have.

Dear Szabó, thank you for your response, I am very pleased. Please let me know your address by private message.

Thank you a lot!

If you would like a historical postcard, I also wait for your address.

Hello  Ilya Semenenko-Basin i will love to have one...

This envelope was printed by the post office of the Soviet Union on the occasion of the flight into space of the first - and so far only - Polish astronaut, military pilot Mirosław Hermaszewski. He made a flight into space together with Piotr Klimiuk, on the ship "Soyuz 30" from June 27 to July 5, 1978. During the 8-day mission, 126 orbits of the Earth were made.

Thank you, Ilya!!

They are very interesting. I like the graphic details, also their historical charge.

I like them a lot!

Zelmira

Thank you. I sent you my address in 'private messages'.

Dear Ilia, thank you again for sending us your old postal envelopes. This one seems special to me. It was released on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Great October Revolution, which was honored by a former philatelic exhibition in Lenongerada (now St. Petersburg) and in Gdańsk, Poland. It was 1967. Undoubtedly, this envelope may already be a monument, a testimony of a bygone era. Thanks again for the shipment and best regards. Raphael.

I love old envelopes!  And I love repurposing them (a crafty term people use for recycling old items).

Next time you send me something I would happily be the recipient of whatever you choose to send.  Please let me know if there is something special I can send you in return.  Thanks Ilya.
