40 YEARS OF DOCUMENTED MAIL ART

In 2009 the first edition of 5 Visual Poems of Clemente Padín
will be completed 40 years edited by the Uruguayan magazine OVUM 10 nr. 10, September 1969, giving beginning, officially, to his activities in this branch of the art. It said "officially" because from some years before (from 1967 aprox.) we already interchanged our works by mail art in the Latin American circuit composed by Edgardo Antonio Vigo, Guillermo Deisler, Horacio Zabala, Paulo Bruscky, Julio Plaza, Pedro Lyra, Dámaso Ogaz, Daniel Santiago, Samaral, Jonier Marín, Diego Barboza and some more.

Here, the edition of postcards art mail. The visual poems were carried out between 1967 to 1969. The V Text deserved a second version in 1972:

The fifth postal owes you them because I lost it in the files. In substitution associate the girdle of paper that gathered the postcards:
