Respect: People in movement is a non-profit project, which makes part of the events created and organised by the artist Alessio Guano, in cooperation with “atelier97 spazio per l’arte contemporanea”. Its main goal is to create a collective action to celebrate the Rebirth-day 2016, an idea by Michelangelo Pistoletto and Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto. The Third Paradise is a symbol of change for the renewal, which builds bearable social relations and a new relationship between Man and Nature. Such symbol will be created thanks to the works sent by Italian and international artists. The installation will cover a wide wall of an exhibition space in the city of La Spezia. The project aims therefore to make art a universal way to create a dialogue with individuals, shape new partnerships and bring different people and traditions together.
HOW TO BE PART OF THIS PROJECT
The works – on A4 format sheet- have to be sent in an envelope, unframed and unfolded. Only works sent by post will be accepted. They will not be returned to the sender nor sold. All works will be displayed on the Facebook page of the event and be part of the permanent collection of “atelier97 arte contemporanea”. All works must be signed by the artist and accompanied by an attached form where name, surname, address, email and a brief explanation of the work must be written.
