As many of you know, rumor has it that the world will end in 2012. To celebrate this auspicious event, I'm establishing a Mail Art Call - the theme will be "The End of the World."
Only 2D work will be accepted, in any medium, maximum size 8x10". Art stamp work is acceptable. No returns, documentation will be in the form of a website.
If the world does not end, and there is enough interest, a book of the mail art received will be produced!

Video Submission from French artist Yannick Dangin Leconte
"my youtube non celebration" was created by artist Yannick Dangin Leconte (ydl) three years ago. At that time, oddly enough, he was thinking about the end of the world as we knew it. Today, the video is still as fresh and relevant as when it first appeared on YouTube.
Here's the blog site that I've created for work that is submitted to the End of the World Project. This is where work will be shown so if you're interested, send work to the 12-12-12 Project, PO Box 360, Tamworth, NH 03886 USA. Deadline is 12-12-12!
Thanks for your interest!

'Will definitely be around for this...and will post on December 13, 2012!
Throughout high school and college, 'had to read "1984". Dreaded that year as my son was 5 years old and we waited for Big Brother after the Atomic bomb blast. Then there was the anxiety of 2000, my son, 21 and dancing in the streets. Sooo, come on 12.12.12....will be "a day like any other day, but YOU ARE THERE"!
!!!!!!!!! AMAZING IDEA !!!!!!!!!
I really love to partecipate and enjoy too the end of this world !
