Mail-art exhibition "Flowers"

My submission to the mail art exhibition called "Flowers." Dedicated to supporting people undergoing psychiatric treatment in Inpatient Ward No. 2 in Lviv, Ukraine.

I chose to create a wall decoration using crochet with a sakura blossom design. In Japanese philosophy, sakura symbolizes renewal, hope, and fresh beginnings, serving as a gentle reminder that everything must pass. I used a dry stick I found in a nearby forest, where many trees had been cut down due to disease. By repurposing the stick, I am giving new life to what was once a tree.

I hope this piece inspires people to express their feelings through arts and crafts. <3
