Wow, there was an almost 6-year hiatus until Ruud remarked in March (2026).  I didn't realize that this important topic was left unattended for so long.

In the meantime, I've added dozens more to my penventory and many boxes of dip pen nibs as well.  Oh, and more paper from Japan and elsewhere.  The number of very affordable and decent fountain pens from China is news to update this topic.  Some can be had for $5 or slightly less.

For me, I can never have enough.

I use a Noodler's Konrad for hand lettering, and a Kaweco Liliput for everything else. The Konrad appears to be clogging up right now, possibly because I use a pigment ink (Platinum Carbon) for water resistance. Hopefully I'll get it back on track.
