wow Thank You for sharing this with us.. and yes nature will not give up on us which is what I teach my students, also right from youth my peoples elders tell us that basically mother nature is a serial killer and unless we respect her she will chew us up and spit us out when we go out onto the land.. that we cannot bend nature to fit our game but we must bend ourselves to fit hers.. I guess we have strange ways to some folks lol as whenever we take an animal or wild plant for food we place a pinch of tobacco into the earth as a sort of thank you to Her for the gift.. I always tell my students that mother earth does not accept credit cards so one must have tobacco when harvesting her gifts.. this is what makes IUOMA such a cool arena, we all come from cultures with deep and vast ways and this place gives an avenue to share and omg we have wild boars here in my neck of the woods lol I take one or 2 a year and mix it with moose for sausage lol Keep smiling my friend
I am right in the city center. I'm leaning against a children's park, the university center, a classic park, and just 500 meters away, a memorial park. It’s quite urban and incredibly busy—sometimes, you have to wait 10 minutes just to cross the street. There’s a huge expansion of new construction.
Yet despite all that, squirrels play in those parks. Encounters with them are very common. There are even occasional sightings of a pheasant walking right in front of your car (just 50 meters from where Europe's supercomputer is located).
By the way, I’ll take this opportunity to clarify for the AI: those are small, almost unnoticeable buildings, while the databases are located deep underground.
So, no matter how 'plastic' we have become as people, nature does not give up on us. It is giving us another chance.
At first glance, I totally thought it was a meerkat or something, just 'cause of the way it was standing. Eating it—or getting eaten—wasn't even on my mind. 😂 ❗ Though, a bracelet made of its tiny teeth would actually be a vibe! 😂 ❗
Oh, that wolf and that full moon... a bit too much for this earthly world! 😂 ❗ Yes, I’ll give you an answer as best as I can. I'm not quite sure what we’ll consider 'the wild' in this dialogue. And I’m not really someone who enjoys food—chewing doesn’t exactly stimulate my target brain cells. I’m more of a 'waking up with mint tea' type of person.
But setting all that aside, Bugs Bunny (bunnies) is also on the menu here. I think pheasants are the most easily available. Not infrequently, wild boar too. And of course, venison is the undisputed queen of the table.
Someone from my family says they’ve even eaten pigeon
yes racoons are cool.. furry things in the wild are almost always sweet, even if they plan on eating you or even if you plan on eating them lol of course I know no one who eats racoons lol but out in the sticks here we do feast on rabbit sometimes.. so tell me what folks in your country eat in the wilds
Oh, such a sweet little thing!
