You see here one of my original handmade "Fußstuhl" - a wooden upcycled chair over and over patched with old real stamps from Germany. I gave it the title „Meeresleuchten“. Yes, you can buy ist. And here is the story:

"Sea Sparkle" – For all water sports enthusiasts, aquanauts, mermaids, and lovers of the sea and lighthouses.

You can practically feel the blue power of the sea emanating from this footstool. I spent five years collecting only German postage stamps with marine motifs to combine them on this beautiful wooden chair. Lighthouses are the predominant motif adorning the upholstered chair. The vibrant blue upholstery represents both the endless expanse of the sea and the sky, thus connecting the horizons. A powerful, magnificent chair that is also very comfortable.

The wooden chair is antique; the upholstery, made of foam covered with vibrant blue Alcantara fabric, was completely renewed in March 2018. It was finished with a glossy lacquer, so the chair is ready for use again.
