People do like to joke about global warming in the winter here, but I'm aware that Australia acutely feels the effects.   

Came across some bear prints while on a walk recently!

The bear obviously used this bridge that goes through a Spruce Tree Bog.

I sent you 2 mailings recently. One was this Halloween Window envelope. I wonder if it arrived or if it got destroyed in the mail? I have a mental picture of the mail machines clogged with the shiny pieces I enclosed. I did receive your mailing with the printmaking experiments. They are all lovely and I want to try to incorporate some of them into my collages in the future.

Thanks for the mail Jill. That Golden Spike stamp is really neat isn't it? It's a 55 cent stamp. I like the shiny gold foil. I'll be mailing a response soon.

I did a little side by side comparison of the weather this week. Sorry Jill, what you call "Winter" is not really Winter. ; ) They should call it "Cool Summer"

I got your wonderful envelope full of stuff the other day. I think I got the better end of that deal. I liked the small watercolors. I went to the studio and pulled out a small print to send to you to give you a small finished work of art. Who knows when I will get around to sending it. Its amazing that I am letting folks now I got their mail

Thank you so much for your lovely letter and the delightful bird art. We were all rather amazed by the cat picture also included (which I love) as somehow you have done a portrait of our cat Cici! Here he is relaxing on his favourite bean bag...
