Case #1
Finland's postal service has been having some minor moments lately. A couple of months ago, I ordered a back issue of a magazine from the United States. But who received the email saying the shipment had to be cleared through customs? It was the organization that publishes the magazine. Luckily, that email was then forwarded to me.
Then, after I'd done the declaration and paid the paltry duty that the online service said I owed, the publication arrived with great fanfare. It crashed through the apartment door's mail slot at 4:40 a.m.
Case #2
I mailed the following card two days ago (Monday, 24 August 2026).
But it never made it to Mathart Mail Art, since it was delivered to me this morning. Thus I decided. the postal service needed a little bit of help. So I highlighted who the sender was and to whom the card should be delivered.
When I showed the card to the clerk at the local postal outlet, both of us couldn't do much but laugh. I asked her I could drop it in the mailbox for a second try, to which she immediately said yes. Let's see if the postal service can get it right this time...
