The old TIME mags are fascinating reading! and what ads!! Thanks again for sending them, David. Actually, they arrived at the post office on Feb.2, and when the notice came for me to pick up the package, I could not as I was hit by the flu bug and was indoors, in bed, until yesterday. I finally am feeling well and strong, so my first venture outside was directly to the post office! It was a great "get well" gift! thanks so much.'Love the painting...great art!

It's a great little sketch- I can almost see it moving, like a little cartoon cat-drama.

Wow! Thank you David! I am sure I will not be able to tear these vintage copies of TIME. I'll have to scan and photocopy items that I will use for mail art (and there are soooo many!) 'Enjoying reading the 1951-1952 editions...what was going on in the world then, amazing. Thank you very much indeed! Is that your  great painting on the inside box? super! xxx

And WHERE did you find a vintage, very old(!) postcard of the mud streets of "Salonica"?

thank you forthe amazing package and contents!!

I have read about those days, the brass gas jets and studded leather chairs for waiting customers.  These days we work out of a threadbare attic with guttereing candle ends and nowhere for customers to sit even if there were any.....

I am slowly talking myself into doing a yoko ono stamp ... another sure fire lost cause ...

I'm beyond help. just close the curtains .....

Great! I will check that out.

It was a lot fun making Valentines. I don't think I've made so many since grade school ( many, many years ago).

Anyway, I thought your story with the Valentine/Postal History was really fun to read. Great imagination and great imagery!

Wow, your eyes look really weird with those dollar signs in them! (but for real...write this book.  I'll buy your first copy on Amazon.)

I have had a great time reading all of the Postal History cards.  Thank you for sending them all- I could see this as a book.  There aren't enough witty books about the dead letter office or the Elgin (Illinois) Marbles.  Made my day.  I'm printing them to keep with my edition - they are such a great collection.

Hello David! I received your Valentine card yesterday. I love the story of the couple stuck on cloud 9 ( "Blimp Delivers the Mail to Trapped Lovers") and I love the print on the back of the zeppelin. I'm a really big fan of airships.  Thanks so much!
