Whole Holism and MinXus fabric art from Marie in Japan

The envelope always announces another beauty from Marie Wintzer.

On the high seas...(or what my river boat looked like with the Mistral blowing in France :-)

Flip side  of envelope:

and carefully opened...the full beautiful image:

Even the back side/inside paper of the envelope is a feast of Oriental wonders:

Contents: FAB!

First, a torn page with pomegranate  and fun characters on th back:

This with an invitation to make some "Holism"...yes, indeed,

done and sent already this morning. And the coincidence that I have

already sent another "Holism/Wholism" thing to Marie BEFORE her

invite arrived! Lots of holes and wholes in the mail to Japan!

(Sneak peek of pomegranate holes/anti-holes :-)

Aha! But what else was inside the beautiful Oriental envelope?

Marie sent this amazing, mysterious FAB FABric art:

with a little MinXus tag...and flowing threads of good karma...

Open , unfold, and more mysteries are revealed:

What are the dots? Bicycles...sorry...and how...woodblock...why April 29??? Mysterious journey here...

Fabric texture and color, plastic covers and staples, dots and dashes of white...

Each piece..a minimal masterpiece!

What does it all mean? Poetry...pure poetry from Marie!

Many, many, many thanks Cherry Blossom... xxx

Greek souvlaki might have a chop stick tradition it seems ...

anything on "souvla" is on a stick or skewer you see,

(even in France)

Just flop the souvlaki in a pita...

(saves washing dishes ;-)

The Golden Arches. In Greece they use forks and spoons? They use hands or feet to pass the food from plate to palette?

This time it's NOT the Russian! :-)) Russians are good at many things but they don't have toe chopstick talent.

:-) 'Fly-by" right on!

I should have mentioned that the white dabbed plastic pieces

are only about 3 cm ,or at the most 5 cm, in size...about 1 or 2 inches only.

Nice tiny mini art :-)

DVS...the white stuff could be "bianco", that white correcting fluid?

Or thick white plastic/acrylic paint...

it has comet dimension for New York ( just a fly-by?)

Marie, each and every detail deserves to be seen.

Pity the internet cannot post "texture" and get the "feel" of this art.

'Tis a joy to handle the fabric's softness, the plastic's sleekness,

and see the relief of the paint "blogs", too! Yep, 'love the flowing threads, too.

Is there "meaning" to April 29???
