I am VERY behind with documenting received mailart, so please excuse the lapse.

Over the course of the summer I have received two—three, actually—envelopes from Coco, each with unique and amazing inclusions.

In response to a personalized TrashPo Boekie I sent to her bound in a gourmet tinned octopus box (It's always good if you have to consume the yummy contents of your TrashPo errata before creating your TrashPo work of art...), Coco sent me a boekie of her own... It involved something that she had to consume also before creating her magnificent CHERRY STEM AND CHERRY PIT ROMANCE BOEKIE.  It is a thing of beauty. The plot arc involved both sad and happy faces made up of stems and pits, as well as words made up of the same compostable refuse. In the "acknowledgements" section of the boekie, she credits C. Mehrl Bennett with the inspiration for her cheery, cherry novella. Brava, I say! It was a "biting," suspenseful thriller all the way to the end of the 8-page story!

Coco also included some (MORE) of her amazing artistamps, which she noted she has been having professionally perforated by a perfectly hospitable and benevolent neighbor-friend with an actual perforator machine!  A personal pal with a perforator pleasantly proffering to punch-hole postage???!!!  PRESTO!!!  How lucky can a mailartist get??! Coco will pretty soon have to be inducted into the Artistamper Hall of Fame, I think.

Anyway, your creativity and kindly-worded personal letter were all VERY MUCH appreciated, Coco. Thank you so much.

I also received a mailing of COMMA-LA/Kamala promotional artistamps...ala Diana Hale...which I think are the bees' knees!! And—YES—they are getting affixed on most of my sent mailart. (I also downloaded the full sheet that Coco Posted on this site in a blog, so that I could make as many as I needed.)

I also received a pretty amazing artist add-n-pass boekie (not pictured here), which some lucky contestant will have the privilege of receiving once I have sufficiently made my artsy-fartsy marks upon it.

Thank you, Coco, for so much joy in my mailbox!

Yup...sometimes life is too harrowing or just too busy to handle everything.  So we are forced to prioritize!  And even though I know senders sometimes start wondering if their mailed masterpiece has made it through the system, it certainly doesn't mean that received mail hasn't been wholly appreciated!  In fact, during stressful or overwhelming times, knowing that someone's thinking about you and receiving something in your mailbox can be a really uplifting event! So I'm grateful to everyone, even if I'm a bit tardy in acknowledgement.

(I think we all learn—if we've been around here long enough—that documentation isn't always the most important thing about mailart...as long as continued personal exchanges through the postal mail are still satisfying both artists in a postal relationship.)
