Two dynamic tablets from Karen...speaking volumes!

How amazing is the work of Karen! And each piece is unique and more dynamic than the earlier ones received.

These two are "companion" pieces, as it is "my man with the blue beret" and his "house". Asemic writings are

stamped throughout and haptic textures abound!

Details of the "house" are delicately constructed with screening, vintage card,

written fabric piece and my most favorite details: map pieces!

This lower map detail intriques me...as all maps do. And of course I had

to hunt up Route 90, and the location of Dexter, Grand Meadow, Elton,

and travel "on-the-road" with Karen. Its location is southern Minnesota,

not far from the Mississippi and LaCrosse, Wisconsin...."the country I

come from is called the Midwest".

Thanks for yet another amazing "journey" into your world of art, Karen!
