I didn't know it was a "fossa"...or what a fossa was.

'read the fine print on the back, Keith :-)

and googled:

The fossa is a cat-like, carnivorous mammal

related to the mongoose family, it is native to Madagascar.

My wife, Sue, nick-named the fossa, the Mariachi Fossa. Ha! love it. oh, RES, fossa, not otter .  .  .  related to civets and mongooses, not weasels . . . don't mean to be a know-it-all, but I think the fossa community would prefer to be known for who they are; at least, that's what they told me. They're very particular about that and if I'm nice about it they say they'll probably return my cat once they're done with it . . .
