I've thought of an idea that I'd like to share with fellow artists.  Perhaps each of us could make one origami "Peace Crane" which we could send to a contact person in Japan. There's a story that's told in Japan which says that if you make a thousand Peace Cranes, a person or persons will be healed.


They're very easy to make and you can find instructions on how to do so from dozens of websites. If you can't find instructions, send me a message here and I'll give you a copy of them.  We could arrange to have them delivered to the Japanese Embassy or perhaps to a Japanese Arts organization.
