THE LIL RED BAG GOES TO A CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY IN FRANCE

The Lil Red Bag has arrived safely in Sigean.

This morning I took it to a newly opened Contemporary Art Galler. Lil Red Bag had a very good time and some of Lil's adventures are recorded below.

Lil's visit started with a meeting with a painted Sea Monster:

Lil was a bit afraid, so to get her confidence back I introduced Lil to Evy's Big Black Torso (LRB meets BBT?):

The Lil Red Bag wanted to be introduced to Barbie and her freinds in one of my Assemblages. Here they are together:

After this show of sisterly solidarity, the Lil Red Bag felt brave enough to meet a big wooden Sea Monster:

Some of the things you have sent me have been loaned to this Gallery. Here's a magnificent lamp that Janine made that the Lil Red Bag really, really liked:

The Keeper of the Lamp, and the proud holder of the Lil Red Bag for the next picture was a young guy called Yven:

Lil Red Bag jumped at trhe chance to meet some Sea Monsters that Amy and Suus kindly sent me. Here's Lil with them (and a Polo Mint):

And then I decided that the Lil Red Bag should be placed in the Gallery's one and only display case and have the chance to be photographed with some of my paintings:

One last photo, I told Lil Red Bag, who was getting a bit tired. This time with Alain's metal sculpture thing:

Lil will go on more adventures when Katerina arrives in Sigean on Monday.

Unreal Val! I'm envious! What a great first day in France for Lil Red!

As usual, things start off full of art and culture with you and then degrade to showing underpants...

Love this blog though, can't wait for Katerina to arrive and for the party to really get started!!
