Hey--Although I am not 100% sure (I don't see it listed anywhere on my page.), based on the earliest posting of anything I can find for me, TODAY (3/15/2023) is apparently my 1st anniversary here on IUOMA. I'd really like to thank everyone I've had contact with on here for making my return to mail art (I was originally active from mid-1980s-early 2000s) fun and interesting. Although I may seem like a curmudgeon because I have "closed" my mailbox, "re-retired", and don't really welcome mail anymore, I still keep active and still send things--even ordinary Christmas cards-- (as I can) to all of you that I "know".
In my first year "back" in the hobby, I have made/sent out 202 pieces. Wow--what a shocker (to ME) to have had so much output after so many years of being inactive. (And that is NOT counting things like the projects I've done for Maxima Strange or the Christmas card exchange I did with non-mail art friends recently, etc.) Regardless of how my envelopes came out--good, bad, or eh--I have really enjoyed myself doing it. And i THANK YOU all for being receptive to my postal terrors that come creeping into your mailboxes.
If i "know" you, I am working on getting you all something (at least one thing--if not more) to you this year. If I don't know you...well... Let's just say that you never know when and where I'll strike. I could end up in your mailbox out of the blue--or not. If you are a "neighbor", there is a more likely chance you'll hear from me eventually.
Anyway, Thank you all for a great 365 days. I am ever so glad that I stumbled on this place (and that mail art is still a "thing").

Hi Pam! You should be getting one any day now--if it hasn't already arrived. I'm glad you stuck around, too. You fade away now and again (LIFE happens), but you always come back. Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! Cheers!
Happy mailversary! I'm happy you stuck around. I love the envelopes you send out, and I enjoy our conversations.
