Poor Greek Soldier...how to survive the postal system dressed in a skirt? (It's NOT a "skirt" it's a "foustenella")

Tears of laughter!!!

So you send a collage...poorly pasted and expect NOT to have a leg ripped off?

Or a tag bent out-of-shape?

Poor Lakis Lazopoulos! (the Greek TV comedian similar to Benny Hill, perhaps funnier!) and the QUEEN!

It's from our Artist-in-Seine...Dean Marks,

Pure "Art Paris"! xxx Thank you muchly...laughing to tears, and tears of paper, too.

What we don't learn here at Mail Art.  So born into the Greek royal family, but exiled from Greece when he was a child does not make you Greek?  That sounds Greek to me.  No wander the country is in dismay!

Thank you Katherina for this info ... I think.

PS Lakis Lazopoulos is playing next week, 22 May for one night only (he speaks French), but tickets are still full price at 65, 55, 45, & 25 euros!  I'll wait to see if the tickets go down next Monday.

I got the flyers at the theatre where I went to see "Avenue Q" which was very PRO, so I know he is playing in a good theater.  I paid 15 euros instead of 59 euros for "Q".

This Friday we are off a French play called "La Belle Vie" , just opened and cat 1 seats are 5 euros instead of 22 euros.  Yes, La Belle Vie à Paris, if you keep your ear to the ground!

This card is full of tears and tears!

Still laughing, Carina? Even with SNOW in April???

And Jill, it is the tall, dark, and handsome men who wear the foustenella in Greece (no queens)  :-)

Oh, yes, Dean,,,go see Lakis Lazopoulos, you'll enjoy it. He has a TV show that smashes all TV ratings, weekly! Funny criticism of all things in Greek news. He makes us laugh...roar with laughter.

And a note of truth:

The QUEEN's husband is NOT Greek. He is the uncle of the FORMER King of Greece, Constantine (but a king and a prince without a kingdom, you see?)

He was "born into the Greek Royal Family"...they are NOT Greek either, but German: the Glücksburg

"Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark[2] 10 June 1921)[fn 1] is the husband of Elizabeth II. He is the United Kingdom's longest-serving consort and the oldest serving spouse of a reigning British monarch. A member of the Danish-German House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Prince Philip was born into the Greek royal family, but his family was exiled from Greece when he was a child. "

Ah, those Holsteins and Glucks! NOT Greeks :-)

So you know this guy?  He is playing in Paris for only night only.  Is he worth seeing?

Jill, I think the hand on her bums might get the Queen upset.  Although her husband is Greek.

Carina, the best way for you to stop laughing is to step outside for 10 minutes.  I see from the news that it is - 40° in Finland today.  Wait, sorry that not the temprature, -40 is the cost for a reindeer taxis.  Very sorry for this mix up.

Well, I can hear your laughter all the way here (Finland) Katerina! And now I'm also suffering of laugh attack .... don't know how to stop...

Great blog.
