Some Mail Art can not be seen by photos: Marie Wintzer's squares on a string

Marie in Japan sent me this lovely mail art piece.  It is a series of paper squares on a string with knots  between each square.  I couldn't just show it with one single photo.  So here it is in all its glory.

Also the 16th of May is Marie's birthday. It's now 2am in Japan so I guess it's official;  Happy Birthday Marie

What a tribute! What a lovely thing to do, Dean! Did you cry, Marie? I almost did!

It really should be seen far and wide. All day it has fluttered my consciousness.

Dean!!!! Are you kidding! Wowww wow, thank you!! The squares have seen the whole south of France! My favorite part is when the guys on the horses and the priest are looking at it :-))) priceless. How much work! I am very much honored, what can I say, thank you so much!!!

OH...MY...GOLLY-GEE-WILLIKERS!!  That video was STUPENDOUS!!  If you don't submit that under the short film category at Cannes next year, I won't know what to think!  Your video really shows how Marie's work is like a prayer flag of art--with blessings of beauty swept away by the winds!!

I was trying to pinpoint all the places that Marie's artwork "visited."...Far and wide it seemed!  MAGIC, MAGIC, MAGIC!!  Did the Archbishop stop to bless the artwork???  It looked like he came close enough to do so!

Great artwork, Marie, and great tribute to Marie's work, Dean!

What a magnificent gift, Dean, and fantastic work of art you performed, for Marie's birthday. Just beautiful. No doubt Marie will be astounded and thrilled. I've always loved Marie's squares but never before saw them in their very best light! Happy Birthday, Marie XOX

This is quite fabulous, Dean. Where were you? In the Camargue? Love it. You did a wonderful piece of art with Marie's piece of Art.
