Thank you, dear people! The Sand Book idea is Marcela's in Argentina and I just joined-in, half-way around the world, on the same day as she is having performances and an exhibit. 'Received some great mail art from many in the Sand Book group...what a great idea Marcela had to put them in-the-sand! Now THAT is sandpo!!!!

Love this beach series of photos. Wish I was near a beach. I went to Foster Beach very often, as well as other's along the lake. Memories, indeed.

How wonderful. I know exactly where it is went to Northwestern so I lived in Evanston a long time then moved to Chicago. My son was born when I lived in Andersonville and the first place I took him was to Foster Beach

Stirring up great memories, diane! I got my BFA at Mundelein of Loyola (at the turn of Sheridan Road). After graduation, lived at Kenmore and Granville...by the Lake ;-)

I know, I thought of that and perhaps that is why I was hesitant to send it. I posted it to her blog. Isn't Foster Beach fantastic? I used to live in Andersonville and was able to bike to the beach every day in the summer.

Foster Avenue Beach ;-) Memories are made of this, Diane.

But "sand", like "soil" may not be received well in lands outside one's border...

Helen Amyes warned us that Australia would never ever allow it...not sand, not soil, not nada.

How about sending her this photo...she will have many photos in the exhibit.

Ah, Foster Avenue Beach ;-)

I had every intention of sending this to Marcella for this auspicious day-genuine Lake Michigan beach sand.
