Another Masterpiece by the Big Boss.  I Love the title and all the elements.   It is so good that I took it to a friend who has an art gallery here in Paris.  He took one look at it and said; "But Dean, it's a photocopy.  I can't sell a photo copy of a painting in my gallery."  "Are you sure this isn't an original?", I asked.  "No Dean, I'm an expert, and this is not the original."  He said.  "Well blow me down, and pick up the anchor!", I said.

I didn't think it would be legal to send a photocopy as Mail Art.  Well blow me down. But wait, look at this envelope.  And it's original! Made only for me.  It even has my name on it.  And it's wonderful !And the back is inversed. As you were looking into a mirror. And a few add & passes included as well.  Normally it is hard for me to send add & pass.  I try to never use an envelope, but this time it will work out brilliantly. Next week I will be going to a Mail Art meet up and I plan to take these along.

I haven't been following the Miss Noma story.  So has DVS taken on a new alter ego again?   How many different accounts can one person have on the website?  This is all certainly beyond me.

Thank you very much Rudd, copy or not this mail art has been a real eye opener.

...a connoisseur of art has referred to the technique as:

"laser print making"

(but, yep, 'tis still a photocopy :-)

A very intriguing and fascinating photocopy by Ruud, however.

You see those green eyes looking toward the right side?

'Must have spotted something!

Hi Dean, thanks for the kind blog.

The drawings are on thick paper and indian ink and watercolours. And yes, it is a colour copy which I use as writing paper.......

Glad you liked the enveloppe... They actually sell..... (also in Galleries)

best wishes,

Ruud Janssen
