Red Car water color from Debbie Clandening by Golly

A lot going on in this water colour from Debbie Clandening by Golly.  Notice all the items of temptation are in red; the red sports car, the red apples & the red door to by Golly's home.  Is it true that the real Garden of Eden is found in Canada?

Thank you very much Debbie, and my guess that the guy in the red sports car isn't taking the long way to the by Golly home.

I meant buy him, not pie him

Why have we assumed the driver of the slick sports car is a man? Maybe she is speeding home to see her stay at home Dad husband who has been making pies all day. She has to run out and pie him some more cinnamon and nutmeg. the three apples that were left had worms in them and he wanted to leave them for the birds as he is a bird watcher and spend hours with binoculars between baking pies, which he sells at the market so he could buy his wife who is having a mid life crisis a car. And HE is waiting in a bunny costume. or not.

You are correct Angie, no bunny, but look what you started.  What is Debbie going to think of us all now?  Good point, are white walls back in fashion in the USA?  I always had to clean them on my Dad's car, and it was hard work, but then again, I was only two years old at the time.

Ah once a drawing gets juicy, I knew it would not be long before Diane jumped in!  Good point, only three apples left. My advice is that Mr. By Golly jumps into his red sports car and drive to the store to buy some more.  On the original you can see that they are actually tied on with a string.

Great drawing. But there are only three ripe juicy apples--what could that mean? This art definately does seem to tell a story, but how it became x-rated is beyond me:)

Oh Carina! Don't listen to them!! They are a bad influence!! And those American words don't make any sense, we speak the Queen's English down here ...oh wait, whose side are you on Dean?

This is except for a good work even more educational than my English lessons at school :)

oooooohh!!! is correct indeed.  (Can I remind everyone that this is the first piece I have ever received from Debbie, and Debbie, it isn't always like this, so please keep me on your list.)

Angie, I think you need a new Aussie teacher, or try a different language, maybe British?  Debbie can join in as well once she comes out of a coma.  So here is class number one:

Yes, I know that it is upside down, it's so that Vizma can read it as well.
