Received from the Soup King Himself - Herr Erni Bar - "La soupe est déja sur la table"

Hey Postman!  There is a Herr sending me soup. The Soup King, Hair Erni Bar out done himself again.  Not only does he send a package of soup, he makes sure it is BIO as well, and to top the whole thing off, it is even within it's sell by date of  03 Dec 2012.  My German grandmother use to make Fruhlings suppe for us when I was little.  She would always say that if I finished the soup there would be surprise.  When I finished I would ask for the surprise, and my grandmother would point out that there was a yellow duck printed on the bottom of the bowl.  That trick only worked twice.  The third time I poured the soup into another bowl when she was not looking.  When I finished, I said, "Look grandma no duck".  She was surprised and her jaw dropped.  So I said, "I'll make the duck come back if you give me those cookies you are hiding in the 3rd drawer of your pantry."  She disagreed and said she would not give in to a child's blackmail.  But that was OK as I knew that the box of cookies was already empty anyway!
