Received from Katerina Nikoltsou, Greece--Lions and Leaves

Katerina's FeMAIL Art always lands in style. A real leaf--from what kind of tree, I don't know, but I love it. The laminated memory of her Chicago visit to meet up with other IUOMA members earlier this year came in a little envelope--a great bonus. Katerina has recently risen to starlet status due to her appearance in Petala's video of the SKETBE Exhibit and now wants to see what I really look like (apparently, this fine buffalo physique is not enough for her):

THANKS, KATERINA!

Glad you like the "laminated" leaf...it comes from Greece actually.
Known as a "Plane" tree or we call it a "Platania" as it was the
Tree of Plato (under which he taught his students Platonic love?).
But the leaves of this tree do remind me of the sugar maples of the USA.
