Oh wow guys, thanks for all the kind words.
Rebecca, I have thought that what I make looks really American, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing? Not sure if that comes strickly from me, from my sourcematerial, or my choice of source material. I guess it's a little bit of all that. I just like those colors and love iconic images.
This card is kind of a strange one since it dosen't have any people in it. Normally I try and have a face floating in there somewhere even if I'm not too sure why I do it?
@ in this one, I'm with Rebecca, because the Kodak material is so iconic, especially with the collapse of Kodak (right in my backyard no less) & the impact on the history of the image.
I'm glad you concur, Ms. Irwen.
Jon has pioneered this ripped tape method we all admire. I'm knit-picking a bit, but sometimes you get issues with tape seams, etc. He's getting to be so good at it now that the technical issues are resolved, as in this you've posted.
Just my opinion but I'm a big JF fan.
Also agree. Great depth and so iconic American!
I agree Mr. Sloan...I love how he can achieve the color overlay without covering what is underneath...
I think Jon just keeps getting better. The textures he achieves on this are amazing.
